Alessio Grancini, Sr. AR Prototype Designer, Magic Leap
With a hybrid background between design and technology, Alessio Grancini is an interactive and prototype engineer at Magic Leap. He is interested in how Augmented Reality can infrastructure and scale the products of the future. Alessio led the work for the exhibition "Interfaces" at Milan Design Week 2019 by award winning design practice Morphosis, building a multiplayer augmented reality app experience that let users experience the built environment spatially, sharing virtual annotations. He taught “Urban Mixed Reality Environment”, Unity workshop for DigitalFUTURES 2019 Shanghai, exhibited his work at AWE '18 and national art galleries across 2019 and 2022. Alessio published 50+ articles about AR/VR on design and technology platforms such as DesignBoom, Archdaily and Forbes and actively contributes with talks and workshops to AR community events in the LA/SF area.
Ruchi Jain, UX Researcher, Amazon
Ruchi Jain recently join Amazon Shopping as a UX Researcher after a hiatus of being a stay home mom. She has a background of a background in business, education, and law. After she obtained bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business; she worked with the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, one of the most prestigious business schools in India. There, she assisted MBA students and facilitated leadership simulations for executives from Coca-Cola, Microsoft, Airtel, and other global brands. She found her passion in UX recently, She is here share her journey.
Rose Newton, UX Design Manager, Google
Rose is a published award winning designer who, in her current role, serves as a UX Design Manager at Google. She was a professor for over 14 years and brings 20+ years of creative strategy to contribute expertise in design critique and professional development to her team. She is also an Assistant Scoutmaster for her son’s Boy Scout Troop in Austin. In her role she serves as Order of the Arrow Assistant Scoutmaster for her Troop.
Stephanie Pertuit, Director of Customer Experience, Home Depot
Stephanie came from Houston's one of the most successful startup Blinds.com now part of Home Depot. She has long journey from being the face of the company to leading the entire customer experience form initial engagement to post check out experience. She is here to take us back to the basics to share the fundamentals and perspective of the user's journey.
